BTW, now it's the "Final 10 days of the month or العشر الاواخر". The Quran states that these are "the specific days when the Quran was revealed". In other words they are the most holy days in the year.
The specific night that the "Quran was revealed in" is called "The night of the Qadr or ليلة القدر". Doing good deeds in it is "better than the work of 1000 months". But nobody knows the exact date of the night; it's "one of the 10 last days of Ramadan though".
