PSA: The Necroposting Rule

Moderator Notice
Our members have recently expressed dissatisfaction with our necroposting rule and the way it’s been enforced (not to mention raising some valid points against having such a rule at all).
To that end it has been decided to do away with the rule completely. Going forward, necroposting in and of itself will no longer be against the Rules and will not be grounds for closing threads, issuing warnings, etc.
Staff would like to thank everyone for their input on this matter.

I'm waiting for the inevitable blowback about a certain person...we'll see how that goes. I'm not going to say Betelgeuse 3 times, either. Yes, that's pretty hyperbolic.
