That's one bad time to be outdoors naked.

What is your general opinion on Carnival?

Have you ever taken part in Carnival somewhere sometime?

I love them personally, in England carnivals are held in summer time. I usually go to them with family, my brothers and sisters.

One does not go "officially" to any Carnival.
I am posting this here because this year the German Carnival starts on February 24th

Carnival starts in my city on the 28th. I think we are going to skip this one and do Carnival in Mazatlan next year.

This Thursday will be a special Thursday: The "Schmotzige Donnerstag" - meaning "Fat Thursday".
Because auf the fat where the pancakes are cooked in.
The name "Mardi Gras" comes from a similar custom.
