By the way, in the introduction of the version of the paper published in Valpovački Godišnjak, I compared myself to Galileo. My father insisted on that, he wrote that part himself and insisted I put it in the text. I am not sure that's a good idea (I think it may sound arrogant to some readers), so that part of the paper is not available on my website.

No, my father wrote that I am following the same methodology that Galileo followed. Setting up the hypothesis, making a machine (or, in my case, computer program) to test it, doing measurements and calculations and finally publishing the results.
So, what do you think about my father's idea?
That his son is super duper awesome? Common to certain kinds of dads - probably good for your self esteem and his.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Hard no. Not just because it's hilariously pretentious...but because being "like this notable astronomer"..even if you really were, does nothing to build the case or establish that the content of your work is accurate. That kind of stuff is a better placed in a toast or a eulogy, lol.

Not to mention you have to recall what they did to Galileo and wonder whether you want to claim you're going down the same road. The opportunities for unintentional hilarity are abundant.

Unbeknownst to FA, this is his dads way of signaling that he's been fitting new locks on the outside of FA's bedroom door.
