Not an article per se, but there's a listing on the local FB page for giving things away that is a box full of Bibles and devotionals. Made me chuckle...do we have a new deconvert?

Arkansas man called himself Jesus, Satan before cutting off own leg in front of child: affidavit

Cox’s wife, Sandy, who claimed her husband had been “acting odd all day,” telling her that he was “Jesus Christ” and saying she needed to “get right with the lord.” She claimed he began to get violent and claimed to be “Satan.”

I don't know what's worse, the insane self-mutilation, the child abuse, or being named Sandy Cox.

I'm a little fascinated by the description of "acting odd all day"...seems his behavior was whatever comes after 'odd'.  Sandy is so calm.

RE: Articles of Distraction
I said that I was staying away from the news, and I still am. Primarily the hardcore stuff.

Anyway, kept seeing an Adam Levine meme on FB and wondered what it meant, so I had to look at the news.

LEVINE GETS MEMED
The Sun

Quote:RUMORS of an affair between Adam Levine and another woman made their rounds on the Internet and were met with mixed reactions from users.

Adam, his wife Behati Prinsloo, and Instagram influencer Sumner Stroh were caught in a tangled web that went on to become the subject of several social media memes.

In September 2022, several of Adam Levine's DM's to Sumner Stroh went viral on social media.

In the exchanges, Adam supposedly wrote to Sumner: "It is truly unreal how f*****g hot you are. Like it blows my mind.

"I need to go rub one out. Then my head will be clear. I often think about when you used to get me into that place where I literally would stare and drool and do whatever you told me.

"You are 50 times hotter in person. And so am I hahahah."

He reportedly sent similar texts to other influencers such as Maryka, Alyson Rosef, and Alanna Zabel that supposedly read: "I'm now obsessed with you.

"I may need to see the booty. How do you have such an hourglass figure."

The DMs further read: "Watching your a** jiggle on that table will permanently scar me but otherwise I'm amazing.

"I'd do anything for it. I'd buy it a steak dinner and whisper sweet nothings into it.

"Holy f**k. Holy f****ng f**k. That body of yours is absurd."

Since the Instagram DM's were leaked by Sumner and the other influencers, users on the web have taken the thread of messages to repurpose them for their own memes.

Bodybuilder strips down to Speedo and makes college baseball game a whole lot more interesting
Queerty

Quote:He may not have thrown a strike, but everyone seems to agree that Naotaka Yokokawa’s first pitch scored a grand slam nonetheless.

The 28-year-old bodybuilder recently stepped up to the mound to open a game between the Orix Buffaloes and the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks.

To the tune of the Village People’s “Macho Man,” the bodybuilding champ gave the crowd something to cheer as he stripped down to nothing but a Speedo and sneakers.
