Getting ready for my work weekend to begin.

Which reminds me of what I encountered this past weekend. Know how some people show what they're thinking on their faces? This one nurse did just that when she overheard me telling another aide that I only work the weekends and then have four days off a week. I'm a very perceptive individual, so I'm always noticing and paying attention to everything and everyone around me. Well this one nurse near me looked at me weird, as though I should be working more. And I was thinking, Well, sorry for wanting to live instead of killing myself at work. Of course, this is the same nurse who enjoys working herself to death, because she had previously mentioned how she worked two weeks in a row without a day off. Nope, I'm not doing that.

You have the luxury of not having to work so much to support yourself. I had a job in the '80s where I worked 12 hours a day 7 days a week, for months. I finally managed to get it down to taking every other Sunday off for a few more months. My family would have starved if I hadn't done that. If you're making a living on that three days, good on you!

Got up early and took meds. Going back to bed for another 60 winks.

Watching footbal. Hail the weekend. I'mma grab a bag of chicken fried rice at Trader Joe's for lunch, and then double check my dead graphics card before sending it via UPS.

Was having trouble with Youtube Music on my phone where the music wouldn't continue to play when the screen closed. Happened with the end of the free trial.

Went back to Spotify, and now the shuffle option is available. Adding more divas to the playlist.

Got up at the crack of dawn and hit the road. 650 miles behind us, about 1900 to go.

Watching the Astros/Mariners game from last night. I figured that it would go into extra innings, so I went to bed during the 8th. It dropped off my DVR overnight, so I had to catch up on MLB.tv. I ended up skipping to the 13th inning by accident and so I missed 5 innings, but I guess I'll live.
