I made soup for the 1st time today. I'm not talking about your lame canned soup but real, cut up veg, dumplings, mushroom, corn, seasoned dhall soup. It tasted great. I normally like chicken in it as well but I didn't want to have to prepare that as today was a lazy rainy day.

Shrimp in a creamy poblano chile sauce. Great idea, meh execution.
I made Tandoori Chicken and Basmati rice today. It was heavenly as ususal.
Sounds good! I can't eat spicy food any more, though. My youngest son turned 34 today, so I'm grilling sweet Italian sausage per the wife's request. There will be some tortellini with cheese as well. He likes Key Lime pie, so she bought that, too. I won't be eating that, I'm allergic to citrus.
Currently, I'm imbibing on a Sam Adams Boston Lager.

Drove waaaay out of town on an unpaved road to this restaurant we heard about overlooking the Gulf of California, nothing fancy at all. Despite the drive, it was packed. The food did not disappoint.
Let's try this againt - this time fish fillet in a creamy green chile sauce. Much better than the disappointing shrimp from last night. My wife ordered the whole fried snapper. For $10 US equivalent, we were expecting the usual small fish, this one was enormous, they had to cut the tail off to fit it on the platter. Most of it came home with us. I'm looking forward to getting into it later.
Pepperoni lasagna.

I'll never forget my one deep sea fishing trip where I caught a bunch.
