Propagating false information that indirectly contributes to the harm of others and which hinders social advancement harms people (and you, though you may not notice it) and increases suffering.

It doesn't matter if many religious people are good or not.  What matters is that their information is false and harmful and that it is easily spread.  Religion isn't a benign force.

I have known plenty of nice people with horrific beliefs and ideologies.  It doesn't stop the ideology being something the world would be better off without.

What false or immoral teaching is contained within religious humanism?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

How do you intend to attain that? Anti-religious bigotry may be atheist, but I wouldn't call it good to round up folks based on their beliefs and force them into reeducation camps.

So -- how do you want to do this? That's the nub.

That humans matter, for one thing.

I'd be willing to negotiate in your case.

Let's run with it. Humans don't matter, believing otherwise is either false or immoral. If so, then harming humans doesn't matter. Impeding human progress doesn't matter.

That's great. All that means to me is that I get to argue your points without you replying to the wider audience.

The amount of false information in our heads likely outweighs the true. You're also implying that false information is necessarily harmful. If I feel my lover is really good in bed, despite their not being so, I don't see how that produces harm.
