I hope y'all are all safe.

Hope you stay safe as well.

My biggest issue was that the rain blew so hard against one side of the house that it was blowing rain under the laundry room door.  Fixed that with an old towel.

Later I will fetch the patio furniture that has moved to the yard.

The outliers are hitting us now. My dog's a-tremble, the rain's intensifying. We'll see how it comes out. The house is Austin limestone and we're in a declivity.

Tarantula is on the porch trying to get away from the water.

Though it looks like the weather is much better today, half the town is still without power. I left yesterday to drop of a package at The UPS Store and to fill my car up....no power. I decided not to bother driving on to the bank figuring a trip to the ATM would be useless.

Lots of pics on the local FB pages of trees/limbs down and fences blown down as well as there are still several trampolines that escaped their backyards.

I guess living in one of the older parts of town worked out well for us for a change. Power only blipped off for less than a minute and I have all but one chair replaced on the patio.

There are still people nearby with no power. I finally made it out to drop something at UPS and fill my car with gas (both places had been closed due to no power) and on my way there the bottom dropped out again. If there is one thing we don't need more of right now, it's rain.

Heavy rain today. My commute at 6:00 this morning was dreadful - 90 minutes. Just add water.

Pretty brisk for 8:00 AM - 42F. Not to worry. It’s supposed to rocket up to a scorching 65 this afternoon.

We're in the early stages of an atmospheric river here in NW Washington, heavy rain for the next 3 days. Maybe Spring will show up in July this year.
