"The Works" pizza from Davanni's. I would have preferred Papa John's, but I didn't have any cash for a driver tip.

Husband has become addicted to the huge taco salads that one of the restaurants in town serves. He is heading there to get his weekly fix. He's going to get a couple of tacos for me. Guess I can put off the pork chops and mashed taters till tomorrow.

Banana cornbread.

I took a few very ripe bananas from the store, that no one would buy, for basically free, mixed it with cornmeal, flower and baking powder. No milk, no eggs, and it's delicious.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
