Could someone east of southern California filter down about a cubic mile of the snow they're getting? Another fucking fire is raging, this one about 20 miles north of me. It has potential of getting to our area.

We're returning to normal, mid-50s in the day, low 30s overnight. Well, mid-20s tonight, but the last night of that for the next week.

The temperature here is going up and down like a yoyo. It's 20 F during the day, but 0F at night. So the apartment stays cold.

Seriously thinking about a small heater. Walmart sells a crappy one for $25, but I'd rather not start the building on fire. A radiant heater is $50, or $70 for a good space heater.

I have the furnace set to 65 at night and 70 during the day. The furnace isn't coming on much at night. I put a thermometer in the master bedroom. It's more than 10 degrees colder back there than out in the front of the house. I sleep in a recliner in the front of the house because of reflux issues. The wife can bundle up on 55 degree temps under quilts, I'm OK with that.

We haven't been running the heater in order to save on the power bill. But we have a plug-in floor heater we're using for the bedroom.

I can't bitch in the winter. We are getting down close to freezing at night which is rare for us. It sucks but I'll take it. It's those 120F days in the summer that are really brutal.
