On the news this morning, they had a live shot of the canal in the town where I grew up. It was calm and sunny and made me a bit homesick.

They were expecting scattered thunderstorms throughout the day today, but it's looking like it will only be cloudy most of the day. I have errands to run, so I'm glad.

The forecast is for rain to start about 2 in the morning and last till around 8 tomorrow night...that sort of weather is so much fun with three dogs. Time to dig out some old towels and have the mop at the ready. sigh

The weather is very hot relative to how England normally is. Just in time for the supervisor in work to go off with no explanation and leave me with all his shifts, I'm stuck in a sweatbox of a cabin just as the weathers got better.

It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to.
