Heavy thunderstorm right overhead around noon today. Settled down now into a drizzle/light rain. Chance of rain stays above 35% for the next 30 hours. We definitely need it.

82F and partly cloudy today, humidity has been ticking up. Winter conditions in the bay are behind us finally, 77F and holy shit the jellyfish were out in force, somehow I avoided getting stung on my face but every other bit of exposed skin was stung.

And again with rain. The first time I hear about a drought I am going to hunt the person down, drag them to my house, and throw them face first into a puddle in my backyard. Yeesh...of course there's no climate change. I have been here since 2006 and never experienced this many days of rain in just a couple months.

Rain all week

A lot of heavy weather this morning. Probably 2' of rain. Shit dried up by 3 pm with a couple of hours of sunshine, and ground thirsty from ... wait for it ... drought. The limestone soil here dries easily and sucks quickly. We need a couple of weeks of soft-and-steady before any water will pass down to the lake at all.
