How's the weather treating you today?

Miami and New Orleans will be flooded much sooner.

I suspect those two cities, Nawlins in particular, will suffer from heat beforehand.

Seasonably cool and damp.

The weather tonight couldn't be any worse if it was raining actual arseholes.

We've had several relatively mild days, about 90F or so, and no rain to speak of, thankfully. The lake has picked up about 32 foot in the last two weeks, and is about 85% full, compared to about 54% or so this time last month.

It hit 36 (97F) today, with a whiff of humidity, just enough to mist things up a little. Everyone's complaining about the heat, it's really not that bad.

(To be fair it's supposed to be a temperate marine climate.)

Yesterday morning when I pulled my car out of the garage, the windshield immediately fogged over from the high humidity.

Today the forecast in the Philadelphia area is for a high of 95F with a feels-like of 105F.

In the summers, we walk in the mornings when temperatures are still in the 70s. We see more birds and squirrels then anyway.

Edit: This morning we saw three flickers, two blue jays, one cardinal, and one tree sparrow, along with the usual house sparrows, starlings, mourning doves, and crows. We also counted 13 squirrels. It passes the time while we walk for exercise.
