Putting it in my mouth
RE: Putting it in my mouth
Urban Pie uncured pepperoni and chicken sausage pizza (with tomatoes, green peppers, onions, crimini mushrooms, and maybe black olives). A generous amount of toppings for a frozen pizza. The sauce could use more flavor. At the $7 sale price at Whole Foods it was good. I'm not sure that I'd pay the normal $10 price.

Pan-fried, breaded tilapia fillets and green beans. This was a bit of an experiment as hand-breading fish isn't my thing. I figured I'd start with something inexpensive like tilapia.

The randos on reddit say that canola oil can develop a fishy taste at high heat. Since I'm buying it for fish, that's not terrible, but I think I'll stick with vegetable oil instead.

It's looking like sweet Italian sausage and something else. Youngest son is getting schooled on the grille...at the age of 36 I expect that it is time. Rolleyes

Garlic & herb marinated sockeye salmon and Brussels sprouts. These came individually sealed, frozen, in marinade. The marinade wasn't kind to the salmon. It made the texture a bit mealy.
