We're now a confederacy, not a republic.
The gutting of the regulatory class in government means regulation devolves to the state level. Some of us live in states like mine (Massachusetts) where things haven't changed much except for the most vulnerable. State legislatures are scary in the flyover portion of the country. The administrations claims about those people is laughable, for sure. It reads like a list of shit that goes bump in the night according to trumpists. The odds that a gaggle of radical trans feminists planned and executed a paramilitary op are exceedingly slim. There's nothing not worth lying about in the admins position, ofc.
