Bagels and cream cheese. You never know what you'll find at Aldi. They had jalapeno-flavored cream cheese. Yum.

Sous vide Ahi tuna and Brussels sprouts. I didn't have much appetite tonight. Fortunately, the taste of the tuna made up for what I lacked in appetite.

Baked tilapia and corn. I bought a sampler bottle of Kinder's "The Blend" seasoning. It's quickly becoming a favorite. It's a simple blend of salt, pepper, and garlic, but it's remarkably effective at enhancing the flavor. Unlike strong combinations, which seem bent upon replacing the flavor of your dish, it's hard to get it wrong. There's a wide range between too much and too little, making it hard to end up with an inappropriate amount of seasoning. Apply a little, and it's a subtle addition. Apply a lot, and it boosts the flavor without overpowering it. It's really hard to go wrong.
