hello atheists, skeptics, agnostics, christians, muslims...etc..etc..
I joined this forum because i saw your title "atheist forums, the perfect antidote for religion".
1. why do atheists must feel they need to discriminate against religion?
2. People often wonder why religious people (usually christians) get upset at atheists. Well, the title of the website says it all.
3. You can't claim religion is a virus without someone retaliating.
4. atheists claim they are level-headed human beings, but then they turn around and call religious people (mindless robots). That hardly makes for a decent civilized conversation.

Truth,
We don't "discriminate", more we expose religion for the supersticious nonsense it is. Upsetting christians is a useful bonus. Harmonious discussions with those poisoned by religious faith is frankly nigh impossible.
 A man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?

Actually you're wrong inasmuch as there is no conscious discrimination ... most of us here are ex-Christians of one sort or another and it happens that Christians are perceived as the most dangerous religious force right now. I'm not so much talking about people slamming planes into buildings but (in my experience) we seem more concerned those trying to infiltrate our education and governmental systems (the former most particularly) and that seems to make us more antagonistic towards Christianity ... in essence we don't really understand the other religions that much, we do understand Christianity and Christianity seems to get more in our collective faces.
You claim it is us that're insulting you & yours ... well guess what? This is an atheism forum and it's YOU who came her looking for us and NOT the other way round. This is OUR forum not yours so stop flinging your dumb accusations around because the only thing that will result is you'll get banned.
IMO Christians get exactly what they deserve in places like this ... you reap what you sow so be bloody careful what you sow!

Yes, you are correct. This is an atheist forum, but the problem you don't recognize is, you are talking about God now more than you did when you was christian.

I will refute anything you, or any other atheist has to say. I can prove that atheists are the most uncertain people in the world. Their lack of belief has no foundation whatsoever. They go through life using words like, "Probably" or "I don't know for sure".
That's hardly an atheist. That sounds like someone who is Agnostic.
When does a person become an atheist if they are uncertain about the afterlife?

To the idiot in the dunce's hat:
- "We concentrate" can be used less literally than some idiot's would interpret it.
- We are vocal and intelligent atheists and yes we are interested in the shit that religion puts in our lives ... live with it!
- There are no absolutes!
- You can't refute much if you get banned!

Why would an atheist website create a religion section, and then ban all religious believers? It sounds like atheists want to talk about God, and the bible, but without a religious person being in the room. That sounds kinda one-sided if you ask me.
Did you know Muslims are building schools that only accept Arabic speaking Muslims? Does that sound familiar to your website?
