RevOxley inro thread

RE: RevOxley inro thread
Fr0d0,

Here I am not proselytizing, I am debating with theists. I suppose there was that short exchange with Anto that was a genuine attempt at conversion on my part; but other than that I am just debating.

Yeah, I defend my worldview HERE but I usually don't in real life, unless someone really pushes me for an answer. When I said I don't I should have been more clear; point taken.

Look up proselytize and you will see that all the definitions point to active attempts at conversion.

Thanks for your input,
Rhizo

I concur with that Rhiz. Except I have never tried to convert anyone since becoming a Christian this time.

And I agree that definition that I don't actively attempt it either.

Merriam-Webster says:
1 : to induce someone to convert to one's faith
2 : to recruit someone to join one's party, institution, or cause
transitive verb : to recruit or convert especially to a new faith, institution, or cause
