Most poor people made bad decisions. They more than likely never finished high school or only have a high school educaton. That's irresponsible. It's their choice to continue their education or not to continue their education. If they want to be able to be healthy and taken care of they should have thought about that before deciding to be poor.

You take a rather general approach to everything don't you? "All British women are hairy beasts" "all poor people chose to be that way", etc.

Back to a personal example from on of my closest relatives. Dropped out of school to make a decent enough wage to support their family. They showed a little compassion and

in choosing to forsake ££££££ in order to help their nearest and dearest. I suppose they could have just left them to get evicted and live on the streets... I mean it's their own fault they're out of work anyway (duh!). But the point I'm trying to make is that the decision to forsake education isn't necessarily an irresponsible decision so much as it is a compulsory "decision" to help ones family, and poor people aren't so much deciding "hey lets be poor guys! party at my dad/uncle's house!!" as they are being forced into unpleasant situations due to pre-existing economic polarity in a system that tends only to work for the non-poor or plain heartless citizens (those who would leave their parents behind for their own selfish sake).

I would disagree with that considering my position on free will (or no free will rather) actually. People are doing whatever they're doing based on who they are, where they are and their upbringing. Genetics and environment. People don't force themselves into making stupid decisions and fucking their life up, and besides, if they do, if they do willingly cause themselves harm - then that's a form of self-harm and they need help.

'Deciding to be poor', lol, what bullshit. Who the fuck would want to be poor? If somone tries to work but they have such bad self-discipline that they can't then they need help. If they can displine themselves by working hard enough then why wouldn't they choose to do so? Who the fuck wouldn't besides someone who is self-sabotaging their own life, which in that case - needs help anyway?

America started from nothing. People who settled in America had to fight for what they got. People drove across country in wagons and if they were lucky they survived and made it to California. We fought our own wars on our own soil to be able to be the country we are today.

People who work hard and make it are luckier than people who work equally hard more or less and don't make it. It's not true that you always reap what you so. Some people can work fucking hard and get no where, some people can work less hard (however less) and still survive/even get far.

This is my reason for not having a care about third world countries. They are human and humans have the ability to work things out and fix our bad situations.

How incredibly naive. You think everyone has an equal chance despite living in different enviorments, countries, societies, having different genes, different upbringings and different oppotunites? You think people in third world countries have an equal shot to people who, lets say, made it big in America?

This whole idealistic bullshit of things being equal for everyone is completely fucking blind to the fact that there are lots of fucking variables to take into account, that aren't distrbutied equally, and they can have a fucking massive effect on the matter!

If America did it and all of the other developed countries did it....they can too. They need to get with the program.

Oh yes because it's all fucking even-stevens and all the fucking variables mean absolutely fuck all. Third world countires are on-par with first world, they can just as easily be in the position that america is....yeah....I buy that(!)

I have worked very hard to be able to have what I have today and I've done it by being smart about my finances and my money.

Each American has to figure out how to be their own "business person" and get out there and fix our own situation.

And if they succeed they succeed and if they don't they don't. However they try and whatever happens. The winners aren't automatically awesomely responsible and the losers aren't automatically pathetically irresponsible.

We have corporations that control supply and demand and we need to get back to local businesses providing goods to each community. People can't make a living on checking out goods at Wal Mart. Even managers make around thirty thousand a year. What is anyone going to buy on thirty grand a year?

A hell of a lot fucking more than if you're in a third world country and have no money at all.
