When I said 'I hate these type of forums' I was referring to the introduction forum/thread not the overall website.

Though it may not be a requirement, it was communicated as such.

FYI, there is no demand to post an introduction if you are a new member. It's nice to do it, but it's not a requirement.

Precisely. When meeting a new community, whether online or in the real world, most people start with an introduction. It's not a rule here, but it is highly recommended because it's just common courtesy to introduce one's self in any social circle. If our new member is feeling hostility it is NOT because he didn't introduce himself, it is because of the way in which he begrudgingly did it - as some kind of martyr being picked on. Which was simply NEVER the case.

Besides, DeeTee, in the time it took you to type out that snarky OP, you could have written a brief introduction and at least pretended to be a bit friendly. upset that I didn't conform to their idea of correct protocol and post here first and introduce myself. Well I hate these type of forums and will not be introducing myself now.

I am merely using this to say I will be gone for the weekend and will hopefully only post here part time. I am a very busy person and do not have the time you wish I had to participate. So don't pile on if you want me to address your 'rebuttals'.

My, someone does think very highly of themselves don't they? How we all managed before you came along is a mystery and how we'll manage while you are away doesn't bare thinking about.
