Paul: Hey, I don't hate Arthur! And as for whether Morgan le Fay did, it depends on who and what you're reading. Hell, it depends on what part of what you're reading. In Malory's Morte d'Arthur, Morgan tries to kill Arthur by proxy in one part of the (very very long) book ... but by the end, she's one of the three-four queens who transport him to Avalon, and she's very upset by the wounds she receives. I'd quote you, but my copy of the Morte is still in my parents' basement.

I could go on with more examples, but I don't want to bore anyone browsing this thread. Suffice to say that the treatment of Morgan tends to vary from source to source, and even within sources.
