The 'golden rule" was only ripped off and put in the babble. An atheist espoused a far more detailed and profound ethics of reciprocity some 600 years before your mythical Jeebus. Of course, an arrogant xtard like you wouldn't have a clue about it, though.

The Egyptians and the Babylonians both had a version of the ethic of reciprocity at least a thousand years before the Greeks.

Yup yup yup , and the Buddha, an atheist, had his own quite exquisite version as well.
How ya doin, Pap? Do these guys in this forum know how D-Rec k is crowing about how none of them here can touch his unshakable thesis? How he is just mauling them here? I was poking around a couple of his threads here, and I get a rather different impression...

Okay, I'll bite. Who is D-Rec k and what is his unshakable thesis? Sounds portentous.
Oh, wait a minute. Do you mean Drich? His drivel is merely pretentious. I've had him tuned out so long I forgot he was here.

I am not sure if the Buddha (Siddhattha Gotama) was a historical character. Especially given the earliest "biographies" (which have about as much myth as the Gospels) were written down centuries after he supposely lived. I believe that the various teachings of the Buddhist religion were later on attributed to a single person.

What does this have to do with the evolution thread? or are you just trying a format where I did not immediately recognize your unicorn and move on? Why not start your own thread, and i promise so long as you stay on a biblically based topic, and can remain civil i will respond .

I don't think that applies to Theists, otherwise a few more than just Phil would be in the gauntlet.

Not a problem if he wasn't, actually. In fact it would tend to discredit much of the superstitious nonsense that tends to obscure the actual teachings, as it is all held up with argument from authority of their version(s) of a supernatural buddha/man.

That's your name in the byline bleating on about the golden rule being a "biblical precept", right? You brought it up.

Yeah, D-reck, as in Drich, as in DRECK.
Yeah he seems to have not been satisfied with the ass-whuppin he received here, so he came trolling over to atheistforums.COM to get his ass kicked a little more over there...
