Illegal downloading
RE: Illegal downloading
Wanna know what I did last week? Downloaded 4 songs, which I paid for. And why? Because I get a good feeling, when I pay for it..

I do too. I get a better feeling when I have the real thing in CD form too though. As that way I can have it in both hard and software form too, and it's harder to lose. And it's just sweet having an awesome album in both hardware and software Tongue

And that way the people who made what you are listening to get paid.

Which is nice Big Grin

If it's anything worth listening to it's worth paying for, I say.

There was a time when practically everything I used was an illegal download including the version of Vista it was all running on.

Nowadays I'm more of a good boy and tend to buy things Big Grin

I thought about trying DATZ Music Lounge because you can buy 12 months of legal downloads for £80 (much cheaper on eBay) but further research revealed they have relatively little of the music I like.

I like Spotify. And that's entirely legal. Do you know of it and have you tried it Kyu?

Yes but I find it locks up ... like the servers can't keep up! And again there's the fact that they don't have much of the music I like.

RE: Illegal downloading
I am not able to use music with copyrights for my business in any way. I sometimes make slide shows set to music for clients. I have to buy royalty free music for that or I have to pay up the ass to use anything with a copyright, thousands for copyright music, $20. for royalty free, no contest there. I don't mind so much because I don't want anyone down loading or scanning any of my photos. I've seen people take professional portraits to those photo kiosks and make copies. They don't even realize how illegal that is.
Sorry if I repeated anything already here, I came in late.

I guess you could try again in case it's been updated. Cos Spotify is pretty new. And it had some problems early on for that reason I think.
