It's generally considered an internet Seal of Approval thing to have him sign up to a forum or blog, a sign that you're on the map as it were and worth stalking. Best avoided.

Oh *wow*. How do I get intouch? He sounds like a really nice guy.

We suffered him on the old JNE forum for the longest time. Looking forward to the day he signs up to the resurrected site so I can banhammer him like a tentpeg.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

David Mabus? Really? Didn't he get banned from the internet or something? I've heard of him, although I wasn't that involved in the online atheist community until recently. What a nutjob.
You really believe in a man who has helped to save the world twice, with the power to change his physical appearance? An alien who travels though time and space--in a police box?!? [Image: TARDIS.gif]

I've had my share of run-ins with Dennis 'David Mabus' Markuze.

I really do fear for the time where I hear his name connected to a mass killing.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Can we invite him back so we can all point and laugh?

Oh, I can't wait for the official response to that.

I'm hoping for a "yes" with a very PC explanation about giving second chances that categorily denies the reason I give... but secretly agrees with it, laughs when it occurs and hopes for some insane youtube videos of David Mabus standing naked in his own faeces and polishing his rifle collection while singing "Yay Jesus loves me".

Plus he could turn out to actually be helpful, hear me out;
A theist comes in with an argument, then psycho-kid joins in agreeing whilst adding a clearly insane reason for doing so that makes the theist say:
"Yeeeeeeah, never thought of it like that... fuck it, I'm an atheist. Where do I sign up?"

Its a win/win mods! Let me know what you think. :-)

Joy, mirth, inner-peace but above all... hilarity.

Also I imagine the "You saw it here first! :-)" attraction of the insane youtube videos he would inevitably post here would attract more people to the site looking to have the pleasure of being able to say they personally pointed and laughed at David Mabus himself, atheist and theist alike.
Famous religious nutcases are a huge attraction... like a freak show at a circus.
Except we obviously wouldn't be looking to put him in a display case where he dances for bemused viewers who throw coins at a collection plate... yet.
