Our server was definitely the target. Yes, there are other sites on the server, but they are all either owned by myself or close friends. So unless someone was attacking one of those (unlikely), the attacker was probably trying to knock atheistforums.org offline.

Couldn't win in an argument against us so they result to attacks...., now that is really fucking immature.
Can't beat us intellectually, so they result to cyber attacks.

I traced it to a Christian school. They blamed someone spoofing their IP. I suspect it was one of their students. I don't really have time to do anything legal about it, since it didn't really affect us.

A DDoS is a type of DoS. I don't have access to the raw logs, so it could have easily been a DDoS.

well isnt DDOS more "stronger" because it uses multiple computers,also it is harder to block because UDP's are send from multiple ip adders.
