From the Bhagavad Gita:

God is free to interact with the universe according to His own criterion. He's not forced to interact with the universe according to your standards, or the standards of science. He's free to reveal Himself according to His own standards.

Thus, knowing God is an entirely different type of experiment than, say, looking at small organisms under a microscope.

Which is a long winded way of saying, "no kind of experiment at all, and no I wont be reproducing it."

I asked you to support a claim, not provide me with another, longer list of claims. Is this the way our conversation is going to go?

If humanity is equipped only with fallible minds, for example, why would our science be infallible?

It is not, but it is way more reliable than anything religion has ever come up. And science deals exactly with things we can all do, given the methodology, and made predictions that resulted in practical ways.

I can show that objects of different weights fall at the same speed to anyone in this world. You can't show your god like that. And why whouldn't he let itself be seen??

This god bullshit is free to jerry with any experiment, removing any constant as it wishes, subject to nothing, thereby eradicating any confidence that there might be had in any possible experiment designed to detect it's existence. AK just likes "sciencey sounding" shit, I guess he feels that it adds respectability or weight to his platitudes, though I can't understand why for the life of me, given his propensity for undermining "sciencey things"

This, is not a scientific statement. This is what you believe. I'm sure you really really sincerely believe it from the bottom of your heart, too. And I'm sure the gods of science really appreciate your faith and devotion.

You're comparing apples and oranges, dude. More like apples with the source of you, me, your consciousness, your perceptions, your weights, your ideas about experiments and science and truth and everything. You want God to fit in your little hand, but He doesn't. You may be one of His experiments, He doesn't have to show up for any of yours.

Just so we're clear - I'm fine with science. It's scientism that's ridiculous.
