I'm into Lana Del Rey atm. Pretty good new artist.
If you like drum and bass/dubstep check out black sun empire.
As for what I mainly listen to.
Rammstein, The Prodigy and System of a Down.
That'll do ya.

I found this band over the summer. They're post rock.
You can't go wrong with Frank Zappa

My favorite song of all time is a bullshit bubblegum song and a 1 hit wonder by a 80s band called Diesel and their song "Salsolito Summer Nights"
It is about a road trip down the California coast in a rust bucket. The bridges and riffs are fucking amazing, rivaling the Beach Boys.

All right. Who's the dumbass?
(Though if you start a "my personal theme song" thread I'll be on you like white on a black person who "has issues.")
I don't have favorites so much as transitory obsessions. (I've been listening to Puffy Amiyumi's Boogie Woogie No. 5 on endless repeat for three days, both stationary and mobile.) Currently, it's Puffy Amiyumi (drop the Amiyumi if searching youtube — they're known solely as "Puffy" in Japan; long story), Chisato Moritaka, Faye Wong, and Ringo Shiina.
Everything else feeds from a 3,000+ song playlist.
