How else would I download my Linux distros & purchased Humble Bundle games?
Seriously, I quit pirating stuff in my 20's.

It's a trick, I used the cardboard sleeve from Fallout 3 to keep the DLC cases together.

I took this screen about a week ago intending to post here, but Photobucket was being annoying and I gave up. ("When danger reared its ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled, oh brave Sir Robin!")
Oh brave Sir Robin.
He was not at all afraid
To be killed in nasty ways.
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin.
He was not in the least bit scared
To be mashed into a pulp.
Or to have his eyes gouged out,
And his elbows broken.
To have his kneecaps split
And his body burned away,
And his limbs all hacked and mangled
Brave Sir Robin.
His head smashed in
And his heart cut out
And his liver removed
And his bowls unplugged
And his nostrils raped
And his bottom burnt off
And his pen--
I sort my application shortcuts into broad categories, from left to right it's:
Frequently accessed directories
My Computer
My Documents
UDK data directory
Fallout 3 data directory
3D Art
Blender 2.49b
Blender 2.63a (there's a reason I have two Blenders installed, but it would blow your mind.)
Sculptris
It's not pictured, but I recently added an FBX converter here... Yeah, don't get too excited now.
Gaming / Game SDKs
Katawa Shoujo (been playing this a lot lately)
Fallout 3 (I don't play it, but I've been meaning to release the mod I was working on... at some point)
GECK
Nifskope
UDK
Unreal Frontend
Snes9x
ePSXe
Music / Audio
Free Sound Recorder
Audacity (I use this and the above for simple stuff)
Cubase AI4
FL Studio
Guitar Pro 5 (I actually use this for scoring. Unlike in Sibelius [which I also have but rarely use] you can write and play back string bends, harmonics, dives, etc. which makes it more useful for me. And it can do almost everything other scoring software does anyway. Although, I occasionally get cascading error messages in French...)
iTunes. Yeah, I fucking use it. Sue me.
Video recording / editing / playback
Fraps
CamStudio Recorder
Corel VideoStudio
VLC (the only format I haven't been able to play on this is MIDI and I don't open them in media players anyway, so it's all good.)
FTP / torrent / browsers / IM clients
FileZilla
uTorrent (god, I hate that new icon. It looks like a sign you would see in a subway in Europe. Or at least what I imagine a sign in a subway in Europe would look like. Probably Sweden. Bastards.)
Firefox (no idea why this is on my quick launch thingy. I don't really use it. I have all the major browsers installed for testing but it seems [seems] to be that rendering between browsers [even IE] is more uniform that it once was. But I could be way off about that; I only design stuff for myself when I need it and am no expert.)
Chrome
Skype (only started using it recently because I composer I'm working with does, but a lot of people seem to use it so I don't grudge it. I do wish it could be integrated into Pidgin though.)
Pidgin
Image editing
Photoshop CS3 (very lonely here. I've considered getting Illustrator, but I do vector work in Photoshop fine for now...)
Word processing / coding / other stuff with words (actually, I do word processing on Google Docs, but if I did it locally this is where the icon would be. This is useless information. You're slowly dying and yet you choose to read this.)
Edraw (makes flowcharts, mind maps and stuff like that)
Notepad++ (I don't know what I did before this. Seriously, I have amnesia.
...
Get out of my bungalow!)
Don't know why I wrote that list. I guess I just don't want to die and have something horrible happen like someone wonder what this or that icon meant. That'd be tragic.
I'm testing out having different wallpapers for each desktop space.
My ignore list
No one is here because I can handle all of you motherfuckers!
