I found this to be a bit amusing. Conservatives are going to rewrite the bible. That should be an interesting read.

Lol ^_^ Another rewrite? As to the salon.com article: Is the article writer being sarcastic? I sure hope so

I believe it was meant to be sarcastic. If not then we're in big trouble.

No doubt about that ^_^ Imagine a bible this retarded ^_^ and people actually believing it ^_^
Normally they are ridiculous... but the rewrite is hilariously more so ^_^ Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam

Me and my bro, when we were kids, were doing a piss-take of the Bible. It wasn't very good, but then, we were kids.
I remember one line from it was how, instead of there being the character Abel in the Bible, there was instead a Biblical character called Unabel "[...]who was unable to do anything but shag sheep". Blasphemy FTW. EvF
For it to be blasphemy.. you would need to have something to blaspheme

No, just more expletives Evie
I'm afraid it is true. I was wondering what the next stupid thing Conservapedia did would be, and I have to say they haven't left me disappointed. There's a great part in the Talk page of the "Conservative Bible Project" about a new word to describe slavery in the Bible, because *obviously* the slavery in the Bible isn't proper slavery...
I'm presently wading through Bart Ehrman's "Jesus Interrupted" and on page #225 he makes this comment:
Quote:In the South, it is true, more people revere the Bible than read it. Thus, it really doesn't matter what they write in it - the dumb shits don't (or can't) read it anyway.
Proper slavery? What the hell? I thought the entire article was pure satire... this conservapedia actually exists?! hock:
