If you don't appreciate the awesomeness of a semi-automatic assault nail gun, your citizenship should be revoked. I am going to get one of those and build so much stuff. It will all have 9 times the normal amount of nails in it. So true Cap, so true...Hey check this one out Cap...not to be outdone, Milwaukee just came out with their own version of the AR-15 nail rifle complete with scope and tripod! Makes nailing down shingles a breeze, and I don't even have to get on the roof!...just get your helper to hold each shingle in place, set up your tripod, look through the scope, aim and fire away! Man I love these tools!... Made in America too!....

So true
"who the hell uses this many nails?!"
To which I will reply "Someone with one of these!"
I will pull out my awesome nail gun, and that will end the discussion!

This is with what I learned shooting with:
My grandunkles, although he has a different bayonnet.
The only moral quarrels I have ever had, were when I was older and learned that the same weapon was fired at Poles and Russians.
But basicaly, especialy the countryside is filled with WW2 weapons in privat ownership, even although regulations here a very strickt. People aswell as lawinforcement seem to simply not care about the regulations in most cases, except for cases of complete fucktards who bunker machineguns, mortar shells and handgranades because they think the soviets will invade, even do the soviet union has seized to exist 20 years ago.
It is a myth that firearms aren`t that wide spread in privat ownership in Europe, one only needs to go to France, Swizerland and Germany and look for oneselves. Regulations might be strickt, but no one cares, and we dont make such big shows out of it as you do.

We Europeans just dig up some mortars, grenades, flame throwers, tanks, bajonets and german helmets in Flander's fields and other battlefields when A theist is visiting us with his nail gun.

It's rather amusing that earlier in the thread people who shared similar viewpoints to mine were being accused of having a 'deplorable' attitude for bringing up the topic of gun legislation so soon after a massacre. I find that pretty damn ironic considering people are now playing the 'look how awesome my gun is' game.

And I'm sorry children, but I need firearms, I have shit like this:
And this:
In my backyard. Also, animal control doesn't come out my way. So banning "assault" rifles, which is simply a buzzword for hunting rifles since they are the same caliber & shoot just as fast, is simply not going to fly with people like myself. Nor is it going to fly with the ~30-40 million hunting enthusiasts that actually know what an "assault" rifle is. Note: I don't actually hunt, but when near-record timber rattlesnakes (seriously, that guy was 6" short of the US record) come into my yard where my kids play, then I need to remove them safely & quickly.
Real assault rifles (il.e. machine guns) have been heavily restricted since 1934.
