I somewhat agree with that.

I'd rather have the gun nut as long as the gun nut is a reasonable person who is well educated on how to use a gun.

If the gun nut is an idiot or accident prone or completely irresponsible with his guns, I'd much rather be next door to the reporter.

This is an incredibly childish way to retaliate.

"Gun carrying man ends stabbing spree at Salt Lake grocery store"....

Quote:A citizen with a gun stopped a knife wielding man as he began stabbing people Thursday evening at the downtown Salt Lake City Smith's store....Police had high praise for gun carrying man who ended the hysteria. Lt. Brian Purvis said, "This was a volatile situation that could have gotten worse. We can only assume from what we saw it could have gotten worse. He was definitely in the right place at the right time."

I am suprised that no legal action has been taken until now.
Andd legal action is the only thing I can propose and it`s in my view the only apropriate action.

Commiting a crime agains a criminal is viligantism - which cannot be accepted in a civilised sociaty with rule of law.

Posting information on sex offenders, from public urination to kiddy diddling, is widely accepted (it's in the public records).

Information on gun owners is of public record, and hence subject to the above.

Chances are a majority of gun owners also support the posting of sexual offender information.

To apply an A Theist aphorism, what's good for the goose is good for the gander?

Perhaps it is time to re-examine the logic behind posting information for people to potentially act upon.

Unfortunately, since this is a matter of public information the gun permit holders have no legal recourse...and even if someone were to be hurt or even killed over this, I don't believe the newspaper could legally be held liable...one recourse is for community members to drop their subscriptions and to convince local businesses to pull their advertisements from the paper.

Funny that the fucking cops can't seem to learn that trick, eh Rambo. I suppose you disapprove, though because you seem to be one of those body count xtians who thinks your fucking jesus was only kidding when he said "turn the other cheek."

How do you reconcile what your jesus is supposed to have said with your attitudes? Must really have to twist your scrotum in a knot to keep calling yourself a "xtian."
