Ahh, weird stuff like God coming to earth, taking on human form and dying for man's sins, even though God had the ability to save man without all the theatrics and even knew of man's future plight and terrible suffering that would ensue in both the physical world and the afterlife and yet still decided to create him anyway? That weirdness? Keep heaven weird.
No, I think it's more along the line of invisible matter that is dark, matter that can not reflect light nor block light. More like an energy that is not detectable, shows no evidence of being present and now will have to be plugged into all equations to account for all energy... oh wait just expand the universe and give it an older age... shame on me for overlooking such a simple thing to do.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Shocking. You mean the Mormons just make shit up and then keep to their own and look down on everyone else who aren't saved the right way? No wonder other Christians don't like them. It puts what they do in entirely the wrong light.

Yup! Mormons are dumb to believe the same stuff Christians believe. It's just a different flavor. Everything you just listed is just as "weird" but more accurately... just as stupid.

I think my favorite weirdness from Mormonism is celestial marriage. Not only can you get married in the Mormon church, but you can be even more bound to your spouse, by, in effect, marrying your souls together. So you and your spouse will be married for all eternity, in this life and the next. None of that depressing, "Til death do you part," bit.

Don't you also get your own planet to rule over and become elevated to the status of god after death?
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Something like that, FNM, I haven't studied Mormonism in depth. But only if you're male, because our eternal souls still carry the mark/burden/weaknesses of our earthly genders. Mormonism ranks high on the patriarchy scale.
ETA: Perhaps the reason we don't find Mormons on atheist sites, is they're waiting for us to die. Much easier to convert the dead, than justify your beliefs to the living.

And you have to be polygamous to earn the planet too, I think.

Because a planet with just one or two people on it would simply be silly

Well, yeah, but I think the point is that to be completely "righteous" you have to be polygamous, and only a righteous man earns the planet.

If Hugh Hefner was a Mormon, there wouldn't be a planet grand enough to reflect his magnificence.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
-Stephen Jay Gould
