My new programmers forum

My new programmers forum
I've created a new forum for programmers/coders etc. called The Coders Coven at http://www.coderscoven.oggtheclever.com

It is by no means finished and only has two members so far and no posts, but, if anyone would like to pop on over and take a look and maybe become a member and make a post or two and give some feedback, it would really help to get things going.

I was thinking about doing an atheist forum but then I'm already an admin on the best site in cyberspace Big Grin

Thank you my darlings Worship

If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.

Are you saying that you didn't like the colour scheme Dodgy I really liked it. But I've changed it now so a second opinion would be nice..

It's not so much the colours Big Grin

It looks fine. Content over style suits the audience Tongue

You couldn't do any worse than Kyu and his unreadable colour schemes Smile

The theme does need some work. He originally had one that looked strikingly similar to the one we have here, but I politely asked him to remove it Wink

A nice theme is very important in any forum, but in a forum that specialises in coding, it reflects badly on the entire forum content if bad CSS / HTML is used on the actual website. Currently the logo is terrible (no offense meant Darwinian, just constructive criticism); it looks like it was put together using paint...all the text is jagged at the edges with no anti-aliasing. Some of the sections are screaming for more CSS padding, and in my opinion the borders of the tables are way too thick.

The trouble is that everything looked fine with opera. And then when I tested it with IE, Firefox etc. suddenly it looked awful with great thick lines everywhere!! Hopefully I've fixed that now.
