Mhmm, I forgot that old biblical adage: "two wrongs make a right." Rolleyes

I'm sure most of the theists here have recognised by now that most of us 'atheists' don't really care about their beliefs or their version of 'god'. In fact, the only reason we're talking about it at all is because folk such as yourself insist on doing so. If people just kept their beliefs to themselves, then the world would be a better place.

But, as you say, you can talk to us all the time about your beliefs. Nobody here is going to stop you from doing that. It's just odd that so many theists start to get their knickers in a twist when people disagree with them, and disagree with them forcefully. Not accusing you of being such as person, but it's evident throughout this board.

Some people however seem to lack that basic human ability to empathise. When I spoke about my dad, I didn't do so with the aim of eliciting sympathy, or concern. I did it to counter a point made by another poster. Yet somehow, on that thread, I was accused of using my father's condition as a stop tactic on the debate; to stifle it using an 'un-touchable subject (family)'. That is false, and demonstrably false to anyone who read the thread in question. I was then attacked by the other poster, and worse, had my own father's condition used as an attack against me.

This is the reason for Esquilax's post above.

And there's two people in this world. People who know what I'm talking about, and people who lack the ability to empathise and understand reasoning.

I mentioned my parents on here a couple of times and they were run into the ground by the ones you believe are the do-gooders. I have not nor will I ever mention them before such heathens again, so you all should quit your crying and move on this has become pathetic.

Where did I say anyone was a 'do-gooder'? What on earth are you talking about? If its pathetic to point out to someone how to try and be a decent human being, then I'm guilty as charged.

I don't know what a heathen is. I can only assume you're talking to someone else.

But seriously, cool story bro. Tell it again?

Tell that to Jesus. He had to die to appease his Dad (who is him) for the sins we didn't commit - well our Dad's did but we are not them and even though his Dad said something about the Sins of the father not being visited on the Children he didn't mean it so he killed his son (which is him) to pay a non-existent debt to him (who is also his son) so that he can look the other way when his son (which is him) gets us into heaven because the debt we didn't owe has been paid by him to him on our behalf.

Right?

What are you talking about all my sins have nothing to do with my father, and I assume it is the same with you.

You're the one who brought up how you would treat her for asking you to go to church, like I've been told you don't want it commented on don't bring it up. I was being told all is fair game on this site, if those rules apply to me they apply to you, you're no one special.

Instead of saying "Oops, sorry!" you just claim that "you brought it up so it's OK for me to attack your marriage." What a fucking douchebag you are.

Because of their good reasoning they want, so you should get use to us being here, or leave if we bother you that much. By the way I've yet to see you refute anything biblical I've brought to a discussion. Your typical childish answer to most Christian post, why that ain't true because I say it ain't.

You need to work on having a sense of humor.

And, no, my usual response is that you lack evidence for your assertions.

I wrote it stupid, now prove I started this, you're the one making the claim here, or are you afraid of the truth, or just buying time to do what you do best twist the truth.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Comma placement makes a world of difference. In this case, it makes GC's statement accurate, not insulting.
