The reality is most secular societies don't accept rape.

Most Muslim societies don't accept rape.

Some Muslims rape people.

Some atheists rape people.

Most people don't rape people.

The only difference between atheists and Muslims in this aspect is that we don't believe an invisible person is telling us rape is bad.

I think the primary issue is the definition of rape. It would seem that some Muslims would not consider non-consensual sex within a marriage to be rape. Others do.

If that's the problem then that's the problem.

All this talk of atheists being illogical when they say rape is bad or wrong is bullshit, and all the other side topics sprouting out of the thread.

I don't think it's a bold claim. I think it's an empirical observation. Children are taught morality using myths, stories, etc. I'm not sure how you can deny this. How do you think morality is taught?

A myth is a story without factual basis. If you are going to teach morals, examples that have actually happened are rather superior. I don't know how you teach your children morality, but I would never do it by myths, which would essentially be lying to them.

No it doesn't. It describes those who do not hearken unto truth. Similar parables and ideas exist elsewhere. Ironically, religious people are infamous for destroying truth by altering histories and destroying historical artifacts.

That's incorrect once again. The verse says those who are bent on not believing the truth lack sense and are dead, dumb, blind like the animal who cannot discern for pain in the shepherds voice and a voice.
