I don't hold out hope for you.
Creationists I've debated on other forums don't consider you to be a true christian
if you don't believe in the genesis myth.

If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.

Of course not you're an atheists, atheists have no faith
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

Try this one.

The owner calls himself "archaeologist" although he knows jack shit about archaeology. He's a died-in-the-wool, global-flood, literal bible moron.
Tell arch I said 'hi.' Actually, tell him I said "fuck you."

I think we should all join and swamp his forum with common sense.

Them's fighting words! ^^ First you'll have to distract Adrian with impossible mathematical calculations, like find the square root of minus 9 and so on. Though I doubt you'd have much success with getting the douches to establish common sense, or evidently, 'not-so-common sense' after reading up on that websites rules and guidelines:
Quote:1. this forum is for the Glory of God, please keep that in mind as you post your opinions.
I still can't get over the absurdity that the site admin of a cretin dared to call his username "archaeologist". >.>

I did join and made, what I thought, were a couple of reasonable posts and I've now been warned for insulting people and threatened with a ban
Maybe I shouldn't be saying this as an admin with a position of restraint but, come on everybody, let's all pile over there. They only have about 40 members so I'm sure we could outnumber them in no time. But remember, we have to be respectful also

I'd get banned within a week anyway because while I tolerate imbeciles, I draw the line at 'respect' for fools.
Respect has to be earned; it cannot just automatically be given, even with regards to authority figures. I have respect for minds such as yours, Tiberius and many others here who are intellectually honest and inquisitive about reality – it's the open-minded search for new ways of thinking that I admire.
Based on archaeologist's mindset for asserting that scientists and peer-reviews are "corrupt" and they need to be quickly eliminated, he's a complete and utter fucking moron (borderline religious fanatic), and I'd probably call him out on that. From every post I've read up on him, I'm of the opinion that he and/or his beliefs are undeserving of any kind of mutual respect.
Based on what I've seen we've got it better here since Tiberius starts discussions, whereas that bigot preaches.

I have to agree with you but somehow I've been drawn in and posted quite a lot. I think that I might beat your estimate of being banned after a week though, I'd say sometime today.

After positive lengthy discussions with a friend they turned around and declared a literalist position ![Confused Confused](https://atheistforums.org/images/smilies/confused.gif) hrugs: I also entered into an exchange with someone from answers in genesis who came across as rational as a scientist and a christian. He didn't want to talk about it much
I'll be over later today Dar if you can hang out that long!
