Things I wish I could wear

I have several summer dresses that are ruffly and lacey. Embrace it!
This is what I want to wear, but was told I was a little too short

Ruffles don't look good on someone with my shape

You have to strategically place your ruffles. I know the places I want my clothes to hug and the places I want my clothes to be forgiving.
Nothing really looks particularly good onme. I'm 40 lbs overweight and have skinny legs. However, at my university where I go for my physical therapy, the actual venue is home to many classes that the varsity athletes of all the sports take. I love athletic clothing. Basketball shorts, sports-specific tees, windbreakers, everything else. And it's comfortable.
But it looks way better on them than me.

I wear pajama bottoms over or under pants in the winter all the time, taking them or the pants off once inside. I'm rude, crude, and socially unacceptable by nature. People look at me funny and I stare them down. I wear jammies down to get the mail and such all the time. Ain't no thang. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJoZ7wf45z8
I wish I could dress the way I did before I was married. My only regret regarding married life is that I am no longer allowed to wear Lederhosen with an aloha shirt and engineer boots.
