I actually can sketch very well.
I'm just too damn lazy to find a drawing, find a camera, take a picture, put it on the computer, upload it to photo sharing site and then link it to this thread. You'll have to take my word for it.
So I may have been hasty in purchasing colored pencils, I wonder what to do with them now?

I painted this while coming down from an awful mushroom trip I had a few years ago (the last time I did shrooms, I believe):
The quote on the outside is by Richard Dawkins and reads: “ After sleeping through a hundred million centuries we have finally opened our eyes on a sumptuous planet, sparkling with color, bountiful with life. Within decades we must close our eyes again. Isn’t it a noble, an enlightened way of spending our brief time in the sun, to work at understanding the universe and how we have come to wake up in it? This is how I answer when I am asked... why I bother to get up in the mornings.” These two I did when I was not under the influence of any mind-altering substances (pot notwithstanding): And on my girlfriend's wall at her old apartment: I also made an online web series of cartoons I created using only Microsoft Paint and Windows Movie Maker. The majority of the episodes were only a minute to 1:15 long but some were longer, such as this one (the last one I made): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJqX-Vftn...R&index=46 You can view all of them on this playlist (episodes 1-45... like I said, I never completed them): http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLX...2VMv1czQhR
He who loves God cannot endeavour that God should love him in return - Baruch Spinoza
That's awesomeness
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong. |
