Religion to Disappear by 2041... Thoughts?

I think you're right, with the one exception that, in the future, with our expanses of knowledge and an atheist movement slowly but surely pushing back, religion will be seen like a cockroach too: we can't make people change their beliefs, but the environment of a future ever increasing in knowledge and the access to it, will be very hostile to those who have unjustified beliefs that are demonstrably wrong. You can see it now, with so many fringe beliefs rendered obviously incorrect by the knowledge we do have; who takes the flat earthers seriously, after all?

Personally, I think it's a wee bit optimistic.

Optimistic? Nah, it's already disappeared in England. There are no religious people here.

Unless you count Sword of Christ who is either a) a POE, or b) has escaped the lunatic asylum.

Oh and the muslims.

But they're from the middle east originally, and we all know how backward them fuckers are.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

Religion will never dissappear while people need emotional crutches. And I say that as an emotional cripple. .
