right like that comment i made about iranian women whether anybody here agrees with it or not i would have been thrown out of a university classroom for even daring to suggest such a thing. So what are parents paying for. Student dont have that much room to think freely

Well, I'm going to have to disagree with that. At my school, the students are encouraged to think freely and express their opinions as long as it is not hate speech or evangelism. In fact, there are entire classes dedicated to debating hot topics, like Contemporary Moral Issues (a philosophy class). Every now and then, things get a little heated and a physical fight breaks out. I have never personally witnessed one, though.
