Which is more believable?

1. An invisible celestial deity knocked up a Jewish virgin 2,000 years ago and for the past 2,000 years billions of people have been worshiping the kid as God.

2. Jesus was just a figment of Paul's psychotic imagination.

3. A lot of the Jesus stories were based upon the actions of the three main Jewish rebel leaders who lost to the Romans.

4. Jesus was a real man but he was as queer as a three dollar bill. He was obsessed with washing guys genitals (aka "feet" in Bible speak)..

That would explain that Greco-Roman civilization was profoundly influencing Judaism, rather than other way around.

Sometimes it's hard to figure out if the New Testament story is a Greco-Roman one or a Jewish one.
