It seems the highest level of religious understanding is that God doesn't exist, but atheists unassociated with a religion shortcut the religious experience step.

Okay, maybe you still don't understand the issue and distinction between "Primary God"; the "cause" that creates Gods' ideologies . . .
and "Secondary God" (Allah, Jesus, Lord Krishna etc. . ); the "effect" . . .
which is irrelevant for consideration
simply because it is the "effect".

Why not people here dispute it with valid logical premises rather than using fallacy and blank claims/denials.

Okay, another fallacy and excuse for making scholars and monks as God, and that's how religion begins.
Quote:They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah (9.31)
Quote:Do they not reflect on the Qur'an? (ie. is referring to the interpretation)
If it was from any other than God (wrong interpretation)
they would have found in it many a discrepancy. (one or more false premises)
4:82
Any interpretations that are inconsistent with any verses of the Quran will be regarded as wrong interpretation. This is the main rule of interpretation of the Quran.
Accordingly, anyone who understands the principle of logic and logical structure of any statements can verify, and those who make conclusion but cannot support it with valid logical premises will be considered as wrong interpretation.
Quote:In fact amongst Allah’s Servants are those learned people (ulama) who truly appreciate the mechanism of the world, and whose hearts are filled with His Greatness; they observe how Exalted and Mighty He is, and how He saves everything from destruction and lets it develop and progress. Did you realise for whom the Quran has used the word “ulama”? For those to whom we refer to as SCIENTISTS today; those who continuously experiment, observe and study, and thus subjugate the forces of nature. It is a fact that Allah has granted us the capability to conquer and harness all the powers of nature for our benefit. But only those people can control them who are acquainted with the laws of nature – laws that govern these forces. These can only be known by the study of nature and by continuously experimenting and observing the laws that Allah has laid down for the control of nature. The people who do all this, the Quran calls them “ULAMA” – the SCIENTISTS. Who Are The Ulama?

Why?
I'm addressing the subject.
I'm not trying to change the subject.
I had replied everything you've has said.
Therefore why is irrelevant?
Quote:. . .sigh, none who understands how to argue and present their argument would ever make 266 questions in one post . . it is clear you know nothing about "logic and presenting argument" , but "quarrelling" or "complaining" . . . so as question, it is not an argument.
Yeah you see that doesn't actually refutes my official statement. This is a forum not an article publishing website. You expect me to write a whole essay of why I don’t believe you? Besides so far I only replied saying you know I disagree because of this(my premise) therefore you shouldn’t mention it nor take it in count(the conclusion). In the form of simple questions. What you expect me to write a whole essay? Because if you can’t answer simple questions why should I bother?

Yeah. God doesn't exist therefor I am god….. and you are gonna teach me about logic?
Quote:Did you hurt your fingers?
Seriously?….
Okay three things.
First.
Is this an attempt to say that you frustrate me? You think I care what you think? You think that in what 10 days or 10 weeks I'm gonna regret myself saying. Ohh I hated him and I couldn't prove him I was wrong. Please I am an atheist I'm get used to dealing with idiots who thinks that their understanding of the universe and their spiritual implications are unquestionable.
What you think you are the first one who stumbles who claims he understanding is the right one?
You are no special that everybody else pal. you are an statistics.
Second?
if i hurted my fingers….
Third.
There are plenty of satirical and more emotive images of frustration on the web to make that claim. seriously a doodle on black and white? As an illustrator and graphic designer an image like that in an attempt of mock is little embarrassing.
Quote:Your friend is your authority about Islam ?
Hahahahah!
Oh you gotta be kidding me.
Poetic justice or ironic twist?
Let me see if I understand this.
I aks questions therefor they are irrelevant. Why are they irrelevant? Who knows but never mind that.
Any way I ask questions about the topic that you claim are irrelevant.
Then when we touch the issue of what kind of conversation is this one. Because that was the issue right? The is this a debate or not. And then you twist into "Is he my authority on Islam?"
Hahaha
Were is it written. I don't think you can learn true facts about Islam from this guy. if you're interested to learn about Islam, then I believe you better try to find good and credible sources.
.
Okay I missed the point were he claims he is the authority of Islam.
He clearly says, look for better and secondary opinions. But that he is the authority?
Actually I don't even see wether he claims that he speaks on my behalf about islam.
And know that I think about it wouldn't be better to use the other quote of him where he actually touch the Quran topics to claim he is such an authority on Islam?
What is that? Hahah I mean seriously?
You expect me to : Hey don't mess up with him because some blablabla?
Quote:I have clearly proven my point, again . .
How that proves your point?
….I mean you make no sense. And since you don't reply nor say anything else? I'm forced to ask you question after question after question to know what the hell is you logic to make such claims. Because seriously that flux of thinking of how you get from A to B. And I'm willing to hear what you want to say. Why do you think I'm replying to you? seriously answer me? How does that proves your point? You know you could even at least begin to tell me what is your point?
That a person who encourages people to research about the quran can't be trusted? that you are the ultimate authority on islam? seriously what the hell is your topic….Although I gotta the feeling that since you change from topic to topic and then you only sit down and like a parrot your final answers are:"this is denial" "this is irrelevant" I think than asking you anything isn't gonna lead me to anywhere.
Quote:Islam is not from your friend
Were did he said that?
Quote:ask your friend to read the Quran because more than 90% of Muslim don't even read the Quran. . . I guess he is one of them,
Why? Because he doesn't agree with you?
Because I already had mentioned that topic with him long ago and his answerr was.
If I were to tell you "My father memorizes a whole book of over 600 pages by heart!" you may say "impossible!" or perhaps, 'Oh! Cool, your father is awesome for having a good memory!"
Now if I were to tell you "I know 10 people who memorized this same book of over 600 pages by heart!". you may say "come on, that's even more impossible" or maybe "cool, you know many awesome people of good memory!"
But what will you think and say if I tell you there is this one book of over 600 pages (more than 80,000 words) memorized completely from cover to cover by over 5 million people around the world.
Impossible. no?
Indeed it is impossible. but wait, not just that.
these memorizers not only memorize the words, they even memorize the melodious way the words are read. and they all read it in the same way.
Impossible now?
Indeed it is impossible. but that's not all.
what if you knew that most of the memorizers don't even speak the language in which the book is written. millions of people memorize a whole book in a language they don't even speak!
Now if this is not a great great great impossibility, then I don't know what to call it.
You will have to agree that It is impossible. you probably don't know any person around you memorizing a books of 20 pages. if you know one single person memorizing one single small book, you are lucky. But it is indeed impossible for 5 million people of different languages to learn a thick book and memorize it from cover to cover in a language which most of them neither speak nor understand.
This is crazy. impossible. really impossible... except if it is a miracle. The awesomeness of this memorization is no longer in the memorizers. it is in the book itself. This book is so special and unique that people as young as 5 years old can memorize it easily. It is so unique that Even if all books on the face of the earth, secular or religious, are destroyed and there are no more books around, this is the ONLY book that can be restored exactly like it is, verse for verse, word for word. from cover to cover. why? because this book is above space and time. it is the Word of the Creator of space and time. Dear reader, the book I am talking about is the miraculous Qur'an: the very word of the God -glory be to him-
He is one of the smartest Muslims I've seen.
Also tolerant.
He is speaks on his behalf and only his.
He encourages people to research about Islam.
He has spent countless hours to promotionating the Quran.
He on any moment hasn't diminished nor calumniate me for being an atheist.
He and I have our disagreements and we left them like that.
He and I made a mutual according of not interfere with the others work.
Although as you can imagine there are stuff that neither him nor I respect nor understand from each other.
I think that he is a more reliable sours of information than you.
Quote:because he did not notice about the Quran when he says "I believe you better try good and credible sources".
Well what can I sai some of us like a little humility instead of making a whole thread claiming "I am god" and claiming that my knowledge and understanding of a scripture is the right one. What would you prefer him to say:
"[i]I believe you better believe me above him at all"
Because that would have been stupid.
Quote:What other sources of Islam ? There is only the "Quran", nothing else.
Thats odd I thought that there were scholars, seminars, teachers and audio, recorded, and visual examples of Islamic culture as well.
When I say I'm not gonna visits your sites is so hard to understand?
Quote:Go to any Islamic educational institutions in Muslim countries and asked whether the study of Quran is in their curriculum, or they merely study the Kitab of their forefathers, monks and priests.
And what am I supposed to say to them?
I cam here because I meet a crazy person that claims to be God? yeah that's the perfect line to break the ice.
Because they are gonna think that I'm from a cult or something. They might even stone me!
I'm not saying that because I support this whole "every muslim is an extremist idea", because that's not true there are many and I mean MANY tolerant muslims out there. But because if I present myself in from of any religious institution claiming that the reason why I'm there is because I meet someone who claims is God they are gonna get it as an example of mock and might get aggressive.
Also when my acquaintance says:
I believe you better try good and credible sources.
For you that's a sing of mistrust.
But when you say:
Blog about Islam as I understand . . .
Like I said.
You know, somehow, "hypocrite" Just doesn't quite say it.
I mean what the hell is your problem man. A little humility about you being wrong is like arsenic to you. Mock him if you want, MOCK ME ALL YOU WANT AS WELL I DON'T CARE.
I pity you, and not because the whole I am God thread.

Okay, I'm not going to read the other pointless statements. . .
If you really want to debate, let's debate . . one issue at a time. . . not through fallacy . . . and you can even ask any expert of Islam to join if you wish, even top scholar in this world, if you know any of them.
Now, let us decide what is the authority for Islam. . (because the above is very funny)
If you don't agree, bring me the verse to support your counterargument. . . FIRST ISSUE: What is Islam?
Islam is an "idea" (not matter or human being), the "ideology", the "doctrine". . . and those who follow that "idea" is a "Muslim".
Islam is not Muslim
Muslim is not Islam
Islam is not Muhammad
Muhammad is not Islam
Muhammad is a Muslim, the follower of that "idea", ie. Islam.
Muslim unanimously agreed that the definition of Islam is about the ideology from the Quran and Hadith:
1. I agree
2. I don't agree, and here is my authority. . . . (provide your authority, or reason)
SECOND ISSUE: Whether the hadith can overrule the principle in the Quran?
Refer to the Usul al-Fiqh, the Islamic Jurisprudence and the hadith are only relevant when there is no rule in the Quran and it is consistent with the Quran, the CONSTITUTION.
Quote:Priority of the Quran over the Sunnah
A Sunnah is the second source of the Shari'ah next to the Qur'an,
the mujtahid is bound to observe an order of priority between the Qur'an and Sunnah.
Hence in his search for a solution to a particular problem,
the jurist must resort to the Sunnah ONLY WHEN he fails to find any guidance in the Qur'an.
Should there be a clear text in the Qur'an, it must be followed and be given priority over any ruling of the Sunnah
which may happen to be in conflict with the Qur'an Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence; p.58 Second Revised Edition; Mohammad Hashim Kamali
So you agree or not?
Make your conclusion. . .
1. I agree
2. I don't agree, and here is my authority. . . . (provide your authority, or reason)

So we don't need islam or the quran. If I don't believe in god I am already there. My understanding is profound.
It's not immoral to eat meat, abort a fetus or love someone of the same sex...I think that about covers it
Muslim Atheism , forget all the irrelevant side arguments.
The crux of the matter is this:
If you don't believe in God or Allah, as you state, WHY do you need to live by someone else's religious rule book?
Why call yourself an atheist if to all intents and purposes you are living your life as a muslim, doing everything a muslim does but trying to justify to us that you are not one?
