Putting aside that Moses and the Exodus are probably both myth according to an increasing number of modern scholars---
Neither Jesus (Greco Roman) nor Yeshua/Yoshua (Hebrew) are mentioned in the Torah as far as I'm aware. I presume you mean the Messiah,which Jesus was most definitely not,according to Jewish scholars from then till now. The Messiah MUST be a warrior leader in the tradition of David. Perhaps have a chat with a Talmudic scholar to get a Jewish perspective. There are a couple of on line yeshivas around if you look.
Jesus is reported as admonishing his followers to keep The Law. Until Saul stuck in his oar, (20 years after the death of Jesus at the earliest) inventing what became Christianity, to be a follower of Jesus you HAD to be Jewish or convert to Judaism. That included having a bris and keeping kosher as well as the full body of Mosaic law. Saul abolished most of the law to make it easy for gentiles to join. Had he not done so,Christianity would have remained as it begun; a minor Jewish sect which would have faded away within a few generations. Instead it became a spectacularly successful failed millennial movement.

In the past my jewish friends have always admitted that Jesus did exist and he was a prophet of God but not the messiah. At least we have a base for comparison. I'll seek out a third opinion and have a discussion about Jesus as the messiah.

Further ...you will also get Imams and many muslim people to "admit" to this jebus personage as a prophet...so what??

The conversation changed to moral relativism and padriac challenged why Christians don't follow mossianic law. It has nothing specifically to do with abortion, but I try not to ignore posts directed to me.

Because you quoted my post and then immediately said, "What has THAT got to do with abortion???" I assumed the "that" was in reference to my post. It was the most likely "that" but your "that" could have referenced any number of things, both in the conversation and out. If I assumed incorrectly please forgive the fopaux.

Because it's not something I could see myself doing or condoning for a partner of mine. The potential for life is also an important factor, just like the medical complications that could arise with an abortion later in the pregnancy, not to mention the mental toll it can take on the would-be parents. I don't condone it, but I won't condemn others for choosing something, as they're not in my shoes, nor am I in theirs.

What do you mean by "the potential for life"?
If there was a 100% complication free abortion at any stage, would you change your mind?
