I can't imagine why people would disrespect you!

Volunteer work is not about doing something you like. Volunteering is about helping people in need. From what I've read in this thread, you truly don't give a shit about anyone but yourself. Why should anyone respect that?
(especially when he/she complained about how self-centered and shitty the rest of the world is)~
