We can forgive you for skipping over him although as a mid to late second century writer he does serve to place the development of this xtian mythology into that time period.

This is the problem: your iron-age religion chose to piggy back on a rather barbaric bronze-age religion. That's just something you and your apologetics are going to have to cope with.

Also, when quote-mining Jesus to say that the OT doesn't apply, it's not honest to ignore the next verse where he says that it does apply until the heavens and the earth pass. Oops. Learn to Bible:
