Ray Comfort used to have a site called Atheist Central. He wrote articles attempting to disprove atheism and evolution but often ended up making a fool of himself. His site actually helped push me over the edge in losing my faith. Not only did he do a poor job of debating the atheist commentators, he continued to repeat the same arguments that had been dismantled several times by visitors to his site.

Some weird things that I remember from his old site, he once stated that he chose to be straight. I can't remember the context but that seemed a weird thing for him to say. He also believes that any Christian who doesn't agree that evolution is false is doomed to hell and he is not a fan of Catholics. He also is responsible for the ludicrous 'Good Person' test.

By "beard", do you mean his wife?
