Both Q and I live in the San Diego area. It's not hard to grow anything here (that's what I hear anyway; I could kill a rock). Too bad you live with your parents, Q. You could grow it pretty cheaply, figure out what strain is most to your liking, and just grow that.
Maybe someday

I always laugh at the people who support Marijuana , they are mostly users of this drug, not saying the drug is not useful, but still, its a laugh lol.

I always laugh at the people who legislate against Marijuana. They are mostly ignorant of the actual effects of this drug, not saying the drug is mana from heaven, but still, it's a laugh.

I'll refrain from letting some of my quasi-libertarian crazy tendencies show through here, but safe to say I support full legalization of marijuana, and certainly medicinal pot.

I too have the same diagnosis, the problem is I love to get high but when I do I lose control of my mind and am susceptible to having my voices make a not so friendly visit.

I'm like that with mushrooms. A bad buzz every time (or did do about 20 years ago when I did stuff like that). Pot, too-- I got a buzzing feeling in my brain, and couldn't control the mental spin.
LSD-- that's where it's at-- probably not for you, though.

I think that's only true to a certain extent both ways. I'm (at times) a heavy recreational marijuana smoker, but am equally heavily skeptical of many of the medical claims, likewise of claims that Marijuana isn't addictive (which is totally scientifically inaccurate, and inaccurate from the experience of anybody who smokes regularly and then quits). Likewise most people of certain political persuasions, libertarians and some liberals have philosophical and political reasons for being in favor of legalization regardless whether or not they are users.
What you are saying is that people who do actives defend their reasons for doing that activity. Well no shit captain obvious. Drinkers will defend their drinking, lazy people will defend their laziness, fat people their fatness. What do you really expect?

Uhhhh, no shit. I mean this isn't new and no medical professional recommends Marijuana for schizophrenia. That marijuana makes schizophrenia worse is well established scientifically. Why in the world would you think otherwise? I swear, some people don't do even the basest of research before putting something in their body. Even the pro-marijuana magazine high times acknowledges the link between the two. Why the fuck would you think to treat schizophrenia with marijuana?

I think it is completely natural to become desperate in times of mental anguish that you would try nearly anything to end the hurt. I don't condemn anyone who was willing to try it to see if it helps. Plus, it may be just me, but it is so hard to find some clear and concise data on certain issues sometimes.

Really? Even when virtually nobody recommends it for that or when every study that has been done shows a negative correlation? I mean, why not ask a doctor. Weed isn't a cure all. I'm skeptical of much of the medical claims made of it, much less something that nobody is claiming.
