No one believes that one species can magically turn into another without repeatable experiments and blah blah blah.
Evolution is actually deeply rooted in statistics (frequency of alleles in a population) and has been proven with the aid of molecular genetics. Since I don't have much time right now, look up the Hardy/Weinberg theorem. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardy–Weinberg_principle

Basically, all it says is that a species stays largely the same if the 7 underlying assumptions of the theorem are respected. As soon as one of them stops being true, there will be a variation of the allelic frequencies in the population that, over time, might overlap with allelic variations of other genes. Thus, over the course of many, many (n)generations, there will eventually be a point when the variations that have added up are so many and so drastic, that the nth generation is significantly different from the 1st.

Are you sure you want to go with denying evolution? It is a well established scientific fact, supported by multiple disciplines. The only way it could be false is if the entire scientific community is one big conspiracy. It seems like you're trying to pick between these options.

I would heavily advise a lot more research on evolution, and NOT from so-called christian scientists, who don't even know the first thing about it. No offence, but the way you talk about it highly points to you not having a good grasp of it.

If there were successful repeatable, observable, verifiable scientific experiments demonstrating how it does not take a miracle for one species to turn into another species I feel certain there would be at least one documentary video on YouTube demonstrating this. I have not found any. So far, not a single atheist I have challenged has been able to produce any either.

So, it seems to me atheist blindly believe evolution to be a fact with no repeatable, observable, verifiable scientific experiments to back up their beliefs. It's 'take our word for it, evolution takes millions of years to happen'

Yet, apparently, the fossil records show that no changes worth noting have happened to MANY species over millions of years






However, I'm ready to be proven wrong. I mean, whether evolution is a fact or not has no bearing on my current life WHATSOEVER. My life continues on whether evolution is a fact or not.

I AM NOT DENYING ANYTHING. I am merely suspicious of ANY scientific claim not backed up by repeatable, observable experiments. I now refuse to have blind faith in ANYONE, PERIOD!! No scientific experiments to back up a scientific claim and all you have is speculation. Presenting speculation as fact is the work of a CON MAN!!

You can do all the research you like, but if you are doing your research determined to blindly believe those trying to hide the facts all you are going to get is tricked!

Science has been trying to hide the fact that mercury is toxic and has no business being in cavity fillings for MANY YEARS. Slowly this scam is being exposed and all your precious research will NOT make mercury less toxic than it actually is, period! Let the toxicity of mercury be your example of how much you should trust science to be honest with you!

You said it yourself, the scientific method is how you establish truth. Evolution has been proven to be the one and only explanation, beyond reasonable doubt, and accepted by an overwhelming majority of (almost every) expert in the relevant fields. Multiple fields.

You said you like honesty, so here it is: you totally misunderstand evolution and appear to have picked up bits and pieces from people who don't understand it, coupled with some of the Christian propaganda which they put out because evolution debunks their belief system.

You can just ignore me if you want, that's fine. But if you are interested in the truth, you'll need to study a proper book on it. Maybe some members can recommend good ones to start with?

Otherwise, you're argueing and dismissing something you know next to nothing about.

Evolution is not just an idea, it is proven, and reproven, and continues to make correct predictions about new discoveries. It is nothing like creationism which is just a story.

You are right to be sceptical, but a "deny everything" approach won't get you anywhere. Follow the evidence. Evolution has so much evidence you could probably spend the rest of your life reading it. It's just not right under your nose, like how obvious Gravity is. But they are both considered as strong in truth.
