Diet:There is debate about what it ate. It may have eaten kangaroos, wallabies, wambats, and emus. However recent research shows it may have had weaker jaws shows it may have eaten small mammals.

Anatomy:It was a wolf like predator. It had a poor sense of smell. Despite its awkward gait and slow speed it could jump bipedally. Its jaws had a huge extent, up to 120 degrees. They also had pads on their feet.

Behavior:Thylacine was a social animal, hunting in packs. It was nocturnal and would hide during the day. IT was shy towards humans.

Reproduction:Little is known about its reproduction. They have been seen with three offspring.

Relationship with other animals: Its interspecific relationships were not known. Humans want to clone this animal to test if it works.

33lbs? Is that a typo? If not, they should have named it 'skinny raptor'.

I poked around for a bit on the BBC site. Seems Utahraptor was much more fearsome than Velociraptor.

33lbs seems accurate. Seeing as raptors need speed and agility to catch their prey.

Raptors are 'pre-birds' and should have hollow bones like birds.

That was Benjamin, the last of his kind.

That is one great video. So special to have this video. I'll bet there is some salvageable DNA from this guy for the people who want to bring back the passenger pigeon. So interesting to see how much its head looks like a kangaroo and yet it evolved to be a carnivore. Very neat.

Anatomy:Like other slugs the kerry spotted slug has basic organs. It has an internal shell. The muscles of this animal includes muscles that pull the eyespot tentacles back, and have ommatophores as the only eye tentacle muscle darkly pigmented. Other muscles include its paryngeal,furacate,buccalbulb,and cephalic reactors.

Behavior:animal is usually nocturnal. They also have an unusual defence mechanism. These animals curl into a ball and will retract their head, this does not usually happen in slugs.

Reproduction:All kerry slugs are hermaphrodites. This means they have both male and female genitalia. Like other members of its genus the atrium has a diverticulum. They have a vas deferen that is very long, complexly twisted, and rolled into a bundle. The eggs are laid in July to october in the wild, Febuary to October in captivity, and are laid in clusters of 18-30. They hatch in 6-8 weeks and reach maturity in 2 years

Relationships with other animals: Sheep are an animal slowly taking away its home. There are also natural predators.

Anatomy:The bobbit worm has jaws that are tight,powerful, and efficient. With its teeth, this animal can grip on to almost anything it can feel. Speaking of feel, it has five antennae, which are used to find and feel prey as they wait. Bobbits also have toxins in their jaws, used to kill the prey and to make it easier to digest.

Reproduction:Not much is known about boobit worm mating. Males lack penises and the bobbit worm mates at an immature age.

Relationships with other animals:Neat trivia, it got its name based on the rumor that the female removed the males penises, because of this it was named after the John Wayne and Lornea Bobbitt incident.
